Developing a network

The Centre for Data Ethics and Innovation operates on a network model, drawing on a wide range of knowledge and expertise, including the Data Ethics Advisory Group (DEAG).

Data Ethics Advisory Group

This allows the Centre to remain small and focused on connecting agencies together, while the expertise remains in the right place. We believe this will provide the greatest benefits to Aotearoa and our data system.

A key part of the Centre’s work is connecting people in the data ethics and innovation space across Aotearoa and internationally. This network helps shape our thinking on a wide range of topics. We are currently developing a systems map and engagement model for connecting across our network.

If you’d like to find out more about the network and how you can be involved, please email the team.
