I am doing a presentation on the benefits of hand therapy as part of my undergraduate physiotherapy training. I am requiring data sets for the prevalence of hand/wrist injuries in New Zealand to help prove the need for hand therapists in New Zealand. I am looking for the past 5 years prevalence of the following injuries please... Wrist fractures Hand fractures Tendon injuries of the hand/wrist Contusion wrist/hand I really only need to know the number of claims per year and maybe age groups.
