Comments Thank you for you request for a dataset that shows all wāhi tapu locations throughout New Zealand. We do not have a dataset of all wāhi tapu in New Zealand, but we do maintain the The New Zealand Heritage List/Rārangi Kōrero, which identifies New Zealand's significant and valued historical and cultural heritage places through a process that includes recognising some wāhi tapu and wāhi tapu areas. More information on The New Zealand Heritage List/Rārangi Kōrero is available on our website at https://www.heritage.org.nz/the-list/about-the-list. Information relating to the location of wāhi tapu and wāhi tapu areas included in The New Zealand Heritage List/Rārangi Kōrero is publicly available on the Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga website at https://www.heritage.org.nz/the-list When you navigate to this page, there is a Search Table. You can choose “Advanced Search” then choose the “List types” of “Wahi Tapu” and “Wahi Tapu Area”. The results will then display on screen. To export the data, click on “Export results to CSV” and this will create a file you can open in a spreadsheet.
