The Electoral Commission publishes the current stats on voter enrolment by electorate and age group each month, but historical data is not available. I am a human services design researcher. I would like to see this dataset made public for research purposes (only certain orgs can request this from the EC at the moment and I believe it is in the public interest for this information to be available to anyone. Ideally, we would be able to get this data by week, or at least month, to track the impact of media communications on enrolment rates on different demographics.
