LINZ is provides charts and hydrographic services producing specialised nautical charts to aid safe navigation in New Zealand waters and certain areas of Antarctica and the South West Pacific.
Principle 2: Maintain public confidence and trust to use data. This principle includes ngā tikanga Pono (true to the principles of culture) and Tika (value for all).
Economic indicators data is regularly released by Statistics NZ. Most of these indicators are updated on a quarterly and annual basis.
The Institute of Environmental Science and Research Ltd (ESR) has developed a Responsible AI Framework guided by the Algorithm Charter for New Zealand. Read more about it here.
The Government Chief Data Steward (GCDS) proposes six recommendations to improve the resilience of the government data system. The recommendations are based on the experiences of government agencies and international organisations during the pandemic.

A privacy impact assessment (PIA) is a tool used by agencies to help them identify and assess the privacy risks arising from their collection, use or handling of personal information. A PIA will also propose ways to mitigate or minimise these risks.
